Immerse yourself in the cheerful hustle and bustle of the many markets that take place on the island every day. Admire the handicrafts, antiques or the culinary wealth that the island has to offer, which is presented in all its colorful variety at the market stalls. The weekly market in Santanyi (Wednesdays and Saturdays) or the flea market in Consell (Sundays) are particularly recommended. But a visit to the Mercat de L'Olivar and the Mercat de Pere Garau market hall - both in Palma - is also an absolute must.

There is an enormous range of sights and excursion destinations. In the southeast, for example, a boat trip to the offshore island of Cabrera is an unforgettable experience. Or a car trip along the west coast, right through the world cultural heritage of the Serra de Tramuntana. Es Llombards
Es Llombards is a small, authentic village just 4 km south of Santanyi. Here you can find several local shops, a few bars and restaurants. The place has a tradition in the cheese industry with the famous Formatges Grimalt factory. Many Germans and other European residents and owners of second homes live here and in the immediate vicinity. The place has about 550 inhabitants. E very Thursday market in the Plaza d'es Pou.
