The infinity saltwater pool and sunbathing areas are designed with Crema Marfil, a local natural stone. The surface is extremely skin-friendly and comfortable, both dry and wet. In addition, the natural stone gives the water its beautiful color.
suncream and other lotions damage the water quality and can lead to permanent discolouration. Algae hardly stand a chance in saltwater pools. Unless they are brought into the pool (for example, over bathing suits after a swim in the sea). In order for the pool to retain its beauty, we always ask you before bathing pool shower to use.
The cushions on the loungers are weatherproof. Nevertheless, we ask you to comply with the requirements for protection against moisture at night, in the rain and when you are absent to store protected.
Water toys and swim rings can be found in the cupboards under the pergola.

Directions
From PMI airport take the highway to Campos, then from Campos continue on the MA-19 to Santanyi
At the first roundabout in Santanyi (“Eroski roundabout”) turn right onto the “Ronda de Cas Canonge” bypass from Santanyi
Then turn right at the 3rd roundabout towards Es Llombards.
At the next roundabout turn right to Es Llombards (note: not to Cala Llombards) and drive on this road to the church
At the church turn right into Carrer Sant Domingo. (Note: The restaurants Sa Fona and Can Rita are located at this intersection)
Go straight to the end of the street, then turn left at the school (Ceip Sant Domingo) onto “Carrer de Ses Escoles”.
At the next opportunity, turn right again onto “Carrer de s’Estacio”
After a short drive, Son Marfil will be on the right-hand side in a slight left-hand bend
Outdoor lighting
The different segments of the outdoor lighting can all be operated from the main house. Please familiarize yourself with the individual switches. The lighting in the outdoor kitchen is switched via the outdoor refrigerator.
Beds/pillows
We hope you also fall in love with the Coco-Mat brand's sleeping experience and the promise of “sleep on nature”. For this reason, all rooms are equipped with, among other things, beds, linens and pillows from this brand. The pillows have a neck roll and are particularly suitable for side sleepers. If a less supportive pillow is desired, you will find a soft alternative.

Shower faucet
Operating the designer shower fitting is simple, but may take some getting used to. Experience has shown that it is sufficient to turn the large rotary knob from “aus” to “an” and then select the button for the desired output. This means that a constant water temperature of 38 degrees is available for use. If the temperature is to be changed, the narrow front ring must be adjusted accordingly. To ensure that no permanent pressure remains in the fitting, please always set the large rotary knob to the “off” position after showering.

Dishwasher
The top drawer of the dishwasher must fit tightly against the back wall so that the door can be easily closed. Please check when loading. A light under the front indicates that the dishwasher is in operation.

Change of towels
Towels are changed for all bathrooms during interim cleaning (usually on Saturdays) and once a week (usually on Wednesdays).

Chimney
The Brunner Panorama fireplace should always be operated closed to avoid flying sparks. Therefore, please close the windows completely after bringing in the firewood. The chimney pipe has a good draft and the power can be varied using the front handle (open on the left). If the outside temperature is higher, heating up may take some time. Suitable firewood (mostly olive and pine) can be found in supermarkets and garden centers in the colder seasons or on sale all year round on the country road between Santanyi and S'Alqueria Blanca (next to the gas station). We recommend starting with dry pine wood and adding olive wood later if necessary.

Kitchen
The kitchen has extensive equipment. You will certainly find your way around very quickly. Note: In almost all cupboards, cutlery, kitchen tools and other useful things can be found in the small upper drawers.
Garbage disposal
The residents of the municipality of Santanyi dispose of the garbage themselves in containers (paper, plastic, glass, residual waste).
Our cleaning staff will take care of changing towels and intermediate cleaning. If additional waste needs to be disposed of, you will find the containers very close to the town center on the right and in many other streets.
Nespresso Vertuo Next machines
Only the latest capsules are available for Nespresso machines “Vertuo Next” generation usable. You can find these at www.nespresso.com/es/es/order/capsules/vertuo (very fast delivery) or in the Nespresso Shop. Please do not use other capsules under any circumstances as this could damage the machines. The machines were set up so that even the largest coffee capsules could be prepared in the existing coffee cups. Of course, you can also order the required quantity and type of capsules in advance or during your stay using the purchasing service. For your first coffee enjoyment after your arrival, you will find a selection of capsules in the drawer under the machines.

Emergency numbers
There are two important emergency numbers in the Balearic Islands: the 112 for general emergency calls and the 061 for medical emergency calls.

Pool service & Garden maintenance
The maintenance work on the pool and the plants takes place once or twice a week, depending on need and season.

Private cooking
We would be happy to put you in touch if you are interested in a private cooking service or breakfast service. This service is not part of Son Marfil's services. Please inquire in good time.

Cupboards on the upper floor
There are cupboards with locks in the middle bedroom on the upper floor and the associated bathroom. These are private and not available to guests. The mirror dresser in this room serves as decoration and storage, but not for further use.

Water
Son Marfil has various water sources. The water is of very good quality. However, it is intended exclusively for use as domestic water (pool, showers, dishwasher, washing machine, cooking, etc.) and not for daily consumption. Drinking water is supplied using the canisters that are common in Mallorca. These are available in all supermarkets.
